MOONEY "HOPEFULLY WAITING" SAN QUENTIN, calif., Nov. 12. Tom Mooney, convicted San Francisco bomber, said today he was "hopefully awaiting" a pardon from Culbert L. Olsen, who will become governor in January. Olsen will consider the pardon application on his personal judgment that Mooney was convicted with Warren K. Billings on perjured evidence of the bombing of the 1916 San Francisco Preparedness Day parade, in which a score or more persons were killed or mained. Olsen did not say definitely, however, that he would pardon Mooney.
