CHICAGO AUTO SHOW BEGINS New Models of Cars on Exhibition Streamlining More Advanced Than Ever This Year. Chicagos 39th annual automobile show opened Saturday at 2 p. m. in the International Amphitheater, Halsted and 43rd Streets. It will continue daily through next Saturday, including Sunday, from 11 a. m. to 11 p. m. Streamlining is more advanced than ever this year and every model boasts multiple mechanical improvements. Virtually all the new cars have the gear shift lever on the steering wheel and the conventional hand-break mounted up under the dash. New heating , and ventilating systems likewise predominate, some cars offering air conditioned rides. Motors generally are peppier and more economical and possess superior riding qualities.
