ASK TO WITHHOLD JUDGMENT SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Nov. 26. A. P. Giannini, chairman, and John M. Grant, president of Transamerica Corporation, lashed back today at the complaint by the Securities Exchange Commission calling for a hearing into the registration by the Trans-America Corporation of 11,590,784 shares of stock now listed on three stock exchanges. "The motive behind this complaint is one calculated definitely to prejudice Transamerica Corporation in the eyes of the public," the two officers of the corporation" declared. They asked the public to withhold judgment until all the facts are brought out. They asserted that all the accounts have been audited by a nationally known firm of accountants and declared the complaint was made public suddenly and without written notice to them.
