LICENSE NEARLY 100 RIDERS Fair Grounds Colony May Exceed Century Mark Before Meeting Closes Publish Complete List. NEW ORLEANS, La., Nov. 26 That there is no dearth of riding material at the Fair Grounds this season is emphatically shown in the list of reinsmen licensed by the Louisiana Jockey Club, which is in the neighborhood of 100 and promises to exceed that number before the season is long under way. Terry Farley, custodian of the jockey quarters, who serves in a similar capacity on all tracks in the Metropolitan area, does not recall any time when there has been as many jockeys and apprentices congregated for a meeting anywhere.
