H. P. HEADLEY SPLITS STABLE Kentuckian to Train Own String in Florida, With Nephew, Duval, Handling Western Division. LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 26. HV Price Headleys horses for winter racing aiv today en route in two divisions. The Fiorida-bound string, comprising Grand Pageant, Heritage, Jim Mike, Mister Major, Panorama, Supreme Speed, Top Queen and. two coming two-year-old fillies by ApprehensionsMammys Gal and Neither One, departed last night, and the California division left this morning. Hal Price Headley, who has been one of a party of Kentuckians hunting on Mrs. Payne Whitneys place at Thomasville, Ga., will be at Hialeah Park to meet his horses when they arrive Sunday, and he will direct their training himself. The California division is in charge of trainer Duval A. Headley, nephew of the owner of Beaumont Farm. This string is made up of Airacuda, Bourbon King, Dah He, Drift Along, Flying Lee, Hants, Old Nassau, Preminent and Volitation. Members of both strings will be pointed for big money events at Hialeah Park and Santa Anita. This afternoon thirteen yearlings, which were broken and tried at Keeneland, were transferred to Beaumont Farm and will be kept there until about February 1, when they will be returned to Keeneland to begrex pai-ed for the 1939 campaign. Thepresent Headley roster for 1939 embraces "forty? seven horses.
