ANIMAL ACTS FEATURED NEW YORK, N. Y., Nov. 26. Animal act3 occupy prominent spots in the Federal Theatre three-ring circus, which opened its winter- season in White Plains, N. Y., on Thanksgiving Day. The latest feature to be added to the circus is Capt. Ernest Engerer and his troupe of trained lions, including those famous performing lions "Leo" and "Peter." Other animal units which will be seen with the Federal Theatre circus during its indoor season include M. H. Allen and his string of performing Liberty horses, featuring "Blue" the worlds smartest high school horse, assisted by "Arizona Arietta," internationally known equestrienne; Billy Rhode and his educated canines, led by "Spot," the dog with the human brain and Fred Rex and his reinless, rearing and jumping ponies. An act with particular appeal to youngsters is Stanley George and his wire walking, roller skating and bicycle riding .beax Harry Di Dio and his trained poodles aridJapino the black elephant from India are also with the Federal Theatre circus.
