DUKE, TEOJANS IN BOWL GAME LOS ANGELES, Calif., Nov. 29 Shortly after the Pacific Coast Conference had voted Southern California the honor of representing the West in the Rose Bowl game at Pasadena on January 2, Trojan officials announced that a long distance telephone invitation had been made to Duke University to be their opponents and that the southern school had accepted. Duke defeated Pitt last Saturday to finish the season undefeated, untied and unscored-upon.
