I FRENCH STRIKE SITUATION PARIS, France, Nov. 29. Troops and police detachments were on the move tonight in various parts of France, as Premier Edo-uard Daladier prepared to preserve order and maintain essential services during tomorrows scheduled general strike. All troops in the Paris area are standing by in their barracks, and 40,000 soldiers are stationed in the citys outskirts in their regular garrisons at Versailles, Sens and Fontaine Bleu. No additional troops have yet been moved into the city of Paris itself. In the Valenciennes industrial region in the North, troops of the Forty-Third Regiment of infantry today began occupation of factories. Fighting against time to stave off the protest strike of 5,000,000 workers, Premier Daladier and his aides engaged today in in-..tensiye secret negotiations with labor leaders and war veterans, looking toward a possible last minute cancellation of the strike. Qovernment spokesmen, jubilant over what they see as a victory for the Premiers firm standi declared abandonment of the strike order depended "dn the labor leaders working out some "face savlHg" formula.
