BEAU PHAONA TO BROOKS FARM NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 12. Another stallion has been added to the thoroughbred nursery of Joe M. Brooks in New Iberia, La., it was announced by the owner of the establishment recently. The newcomer is Beau Phaona, a four-year-old son of Sun Beau Phaona. The Brooks farm, which has been increased from time to time since it was started two years ago as the result of the success of horses bred in that section of the state also has Green Wave standing at stud. At present there are five mares in foal to Green Wave, which are expected to drop foals next spring, and additional mares will be obtained at intervals.
