NIM, never far back and in hand for three-eighths, was put to pressure thereafter and held on fairly well. MISS WEBB saved ground and had no mishaps. WAUGH POP was through early. ROYAL LINK was in hand for a half mile, responded to pressure thereafter and held on well. SPEY CREST moved into a contending position after a quarter while saving ground and closed gamely. SOUND WAVE, vigorously handled after a quarter, raced wide and held on fairly well in the drive. DETERMINED, away well but shuffled back soon after the start, was blocked on the turn and finished gamely when clear. PRINCESS STONE raced wide and pulled up sore. DARIA was through arly.
