The state of Ohio received 25,889.54 as its share of the mutuel play on Ohio race tracks in 1938, the annual report of the Ohio State Racing Commission reveals. Licenses and registrations, fines, salary from tracks, expense from tracks and application fees hiked this amount to 39;142.99.
