BROWN OUTLINES PROGRAM Convention of Racing Commissioners at Miami, January 10, 11 and 12. Twenty-One Racing States to Be Represented Business Sessions in Morning Hours. MIAMI, Fla., Dec. 12 In outlining the program for the sixth annual mid-winter convention here January 10, 11 and 12, President Edwin J. Brown of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners, is preparing to welcome a full representation of racing states. In an early poll of members, it is practically assured that each of the twenty-one racing states will have one or more delegates in attendance at the three-day session. While neither Cuba, with its newly-formed j commission, nor Canada are members of the National Association, organizations in those two countries will be invited to participate. All business meetings will be held in the mornings and special committee sessions in the evenings at the Miami Biltmore Hotel, convention headquarters. During the afternoons, the visiting commissioners will be the guests of Norman W-. Graves, President of Tropical Park up to and including closing day, Tuesday, January 10, and Joseph E. Widener, President of Hialeah Park, for the remainder of the week, the Miami Jockey Club course inaugurating its forty-six day season Wednesday, January 11. Assisting President Brown in arranging the program are John Sloan, New York, first vice-president; Ralph H. George, New Hampshire, second vice-president, and Tom Underwood, Kentucky, secretary-treasurer. LINEUP OF STATES.
