E. R. BRADLEYS 79th BIRTHDAY LEXINGTON, Ky., Dec. 12. Col. E. R, Bradleys 79th birthday anniversary was quietly observed at his Idle Hour Farm today. Since his illness in New York last spring, the noted sportsman and breeder of thoroughbred horses, has been a late riser doctors orders and so, it was nearly noon before he left his room and was greeted by his sister, Mrs. Catherine Bailey, of Philadelphia, who is the only guest at Idle Hour this anniversary. The greater part of the afternoon was spent in reading telegrams, letters, birthday cards, receiving callers and giving attention to routine matters. Colonel Bradley was in his usual good spirits and stated that he is planning to depart later in the week for--his winter home at , Miami, Fla., whither he will be accompanied by Mrs. Bailey.
