BELLE MORE raced forwardly from the start, but tired in the run home. SCIOTO RIVER closed some ground. MR. SCHLEY was in close quarters much of the distance and could never ect up. DOUBLE NUGGET raced in close quarters between the leaders all through the last hundred yards, but held on well. BILKAN gained stoadjly and finished strongly. VONN1E tired. SKY CLOUD quit. SAUNDERSTOWN raced forwardly from the start, securod a brief lead when straiehtened into the stretch, but failpd to withstand the winners challenge in the last eighth. DARBY DEAN saved ground in the run home and outlasted the remainder. C-NOTE closed some ground. LADFIELD showed a dull effort: CARRYING TIME quit badly. Overweight — Darby Dean, 2 pounds. Won handily; second and third driving. / SORCERY raced SHAN into defeat and, after withstanding a challenge from MISS CARTER when midway of the stretch, drew out into a clear lead nearing the end. MISS CARTER raced into contention after rounding the far turn and held on fah-ly well during the stretch test. THISTLE DICK was always well up and outgamed SHAN in the final test. The latter had no excuses and held on better today. EASTORIAN closed a wide gap, finishing fast. EDDIE WRACK was crowded back going to the first turn and never recovered. MISS ADELE raced evenly and finished resolutely. JUSTOLD finished fairlv well. GEEZUM quit badly. The others were outrun.
