OLD TIMERS LIKELY TO PLAY DETROIT, Mich., May 10.— The Detroit Old-Time Ballplayers Association is formulating plans for a Connie Mack Day celebration on June 7. An attempt will be made to have three of the greatest outfielders in the game— Ty Cobb, Sam Crawford and Bobby Veach— play a few innings in an exhibition game preceding the regular scheduled game between the Philadelphia Athletics and the Detroit Tigers.
