1 MEADE RIDES IN MARYLAND BALTIMORE, Md., May 10.— Jockey Don Meade made his first appearance in racing silks here after an absence of several years. He rode several mounts, including Sir Damion, winner of the Dixie Stakes, for Marshall Field. He was accorded an ovation by his admirers. The Maryland Racing Commission recently granted him a license.
