TRANSFERRING HIGD0N STABLE TO DETROIT TRACK LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 10.— Prior to completing arrangements for the transfer of twenty horses to Detroit from Douglas Park next Monday, R. O. Higdon was quite active in the thoroughbred mart today. The Texas turfman and breeder announced the sale of the brood mare Fortuity, in foal to Pairby-pair, to C. Andrade in., of Dallas, Texas, and after foaling at Wiggins Military Stock Farm the mare will be shipped to the Lone Star State and sent to the court of Liberty Limited. Chicalba, a four-year-old bay daughter of Chicle — Alfaye B., was purchased by Higdon from the Blue Ridge Farm stable, represented by Otto Bagley in the transaction, and she is scheduled to be shipped to Military Stock Farm within a few days to be bred to Sweeping Light. Jockey Clayton Perkins, the stables rider, will accompany the big consignment to the j Motor City track next week and do the bulk of the riding for the outfit.
