WEST SEA, rushed into contention, was steadied along for seven-eighths, subdued INVITING when ready, drew clear before reaching the final eighth and won easily. INVITING, hustled along from the start, was unable to draw clear while pacemaking, gave way entering the stretch and tired rapidly near the end. MISS FIREFLY, nver far back and reserved early, moved up after five-eighths and finishd under strong urging. SUMMIT HILL showed an even effort. WINGED VICTORY was done after a half mile. BEL ESPOIR, never far back and under snug restraint for three-quarters, was brought to the outside in the final quarter, got up Just inside the last eighth and drew out fast. RESPHA forced the pace under good restraint, took command when roused slightly after five-eighths, readily gave way to the winner arid held on fairly well. MORNING MAIL, never a great distance back, was put to good pressure after three-quarters and held on fairly well in the drive. VERAKEE made the pace without the need of strong pressure, •was vigorously handled after three-quarters and tired. BOBBRAX was outrun throughout.
