Mahony, in charge of the mutuel department at Pimlico, stated that his department will have 127 sellers, 122 cashiers, 30 money room men, 12 messengers 1 j , and a staff of 65 in other units on Preakness I Day. For the convenience of early arrivals I who wish to avoid crowding when the rush! begins late in the afternoon, booths for advance betting on the Preakness will be thrown open at 11 a. m. Fred Littlefield, who has attended every running of the Preakness Stakes, is on hand for the coming renewal.
