t n a i a ? i s DAYLIGHT AIR RAID REHEARSAL LONDON, England. June 19. — Traffic along thirty-three miles of Londons metropolitan streets came to a dead standstill for fifteen minutes at noon today as government officials directed the citys first gigantic daylight air raid rehearsal. As shrieking sirens warned the populace that "enemy planes" were overhead, buses, taxis, private automo-s biles and trucks were brought to a halt and several bridges spanning the Thames River were closed and heavily guarded.
