DEGREE FOR MRS. LINDBERGH ROCHESTER, N. Y., June 19.— Refusing to march in the traditional academic procession and entering the auditorium by a rear entrance, Mrs. Anne Morrow Lindbergh today was awarded the honorary degree of doctor of letters at the eighty-ninth commencement exercises of the University of Rochester. Elaborate precautions to avoid publicity or picture taking were taken by Mrs. Lindbergh, who came to Rochester alone by train.
