SIR MINTON. away well and allowed to settle into best stride, responded to mild urging when straightened out for the stretch run and, displacing strong energy, drew clear in the final seventy yards. LADY Y ARLINGTON, away slowly and under a stiong ride in the final quarter, wore down LITTLE JACK in the final stride. The latter rushed to the leaders from the start, moved around TRY FLIGHT turning into the ie stretch and continued gamely in the final stages, but tired near the end. TRY FLIGHT, away fast, relinquished JJj the lead under pressure and tired in the final drive. QUEENSHIP had no mishaps. MEHI faltered in the final staees. The others were outrun from the start. COME BY CHANCE, under energetic handling from »he start, was strongly roused approaching the final eighth and drew clear in the closing strides. NAN COUNSELLOR, racing forward!- from the start and on the outside, was easily best of the others, but could not reach the winner at the end. INSTEAD, hustled from the start, had no excuses. BURR HICKMAN, fractious at the post, was away well, but could not reach the leaders under pressure. MARKETTA raced on the outside for the entire trip. UNCLE LESTER had no mishaps. APPLE TIME, on the outside the entire trip and under mild restrant in the early stage?, was strongly urged through the stretch and drew clear in the final forty yards. MARY ALLIE, ruistled from the start, continued gamely when challenged in the stretch run, but was not good enough. STRAPOL. aw i - -Jowly, moved to the leaders with a rush turning into the stretch and held on gamely in the final drive. MOISSOrl, in close quarters rounding the turns, but clear in the final three sixteenths, finished resolutely. BEAUTIFUL BUD slow to sret started and on the outside, moved to the leaders with a belated rush turning into the stretch, but tired in the closing strides. OVER ROSE had nothing left. MISS ROYCE was used up in the early stages. MYSTIC SIGN failed to respond to pressure. NO CHANGE dropped out of it after the start. COSMIC RAY quit. HASTY SUE. under strong restraint while racing prominently at the start, was steered to the outside for the final drive and disposed of WILMINGTON in the final eighth and held JOLO safe at the end. The latter, on the outside for the entire trip and moving to the leaders slowly, wore down WILMINGTON in the final stride, but could not menace the winner. WILMINGTON slipped through on the inside in the first quarter, continued to set the pace under urging, but was not good enough. THE DENTIST raced wide the entire trip. COME HOME, on the inside and in close quarters turning into the stretch, finished gamely when clear. ROSE RAY had no mishaps. BONNIE DREAM was used up in the first half mile. HAMBLRGF:R JIM raced on the outside for the entire trip. BETNABAR, hustled from the start, faltered in the final quarter. BLACK ANNA had a burst of early speed. The others were never prominent.
