I LINCOLN FIELDS TURF NOTES I # . — — $ The Calumet Farm horses were transferred to Arlington Park over the week-end. Also sent to the north side track were the racers J. H. Skirvin campaigns for A. C, Ernst. Jockeys Carrol Bierman and Irving Anderson escaped, from the spill in which they figured last Saturday without serious injury, but neither of them may be seen under colors again until the Arlington meeting. Bierman says it is possible that he will accept mounts here on the last day of the meeting, depending upon how he feels. Bierman went down with Dellor, which suffered fatal injuries, and Anderson fell with Burning Star, which escaped with minor cuts and bruises. The first issue of the Latonia condition book made its appearance at Lincoln Fields. Emil Denemark, whose wife maintains a large racing establishment, is due here Wednesday from Suffolk Downs. Fourteen of the Denemark thoroughbreds are to be transferred to Arlington Park Friday, the remainder going next Sunday. William Whitley, agent for the Woolford Farm, returned from Fort Gibson, Okla., where he accompanied jockey Leon Haas on a short visit. Haas returned to New York. Jack Klucina, who was to have taken three Myrtle Maroon Stable horses to Latonia, has changed his plans and will take part in the Arlington Park meeting instead. C. T. Young received John Oldham and Ada Hill, owned by R. L. Oldham, from Omaha. The horse Army and Navy, owned by Mrs. Emil Denemark, fell dead during the training period at Lincoln Fields Monday morning. The horse succumbed to heart attack.
