MASKED PLANE sprinted into a good early lead, set a good pace under steadying restraint, tired badly during the final eighth, but lasted to outfinish VERAKEE. The latter, fractious but away fastest, was outrun early, was sent to the inside for the drive and would have been up in another stride. AVENUE S., hustled along from the start, held on well. GRAND REINA had no mishaps. GRACE GRIER made up ground after a quarter and finished strongly. MAGIC WINNIE came from well back to finish on the inside. PALATINE BELLE was weakly ridden. CHEER STAR dropped back soon after the start and showed nothing. SUPREME KISS had a burst of early speed and unseated rider after the finish. Scratched— 72263 Frost Bite, 108. RAYMOND sprinted into a cood early lead, was put to strong urging when inclined to loaf, swerved repeatedly under pressure in the drive, held FUMBLE safe, but won with nothing left. FUMBLE, hustled along from the start, held on well. LAST HOP, taken in hand when in close quarters at the far turn, came again when clear and finished strongly. ODD BLUE tired. PARI-ERNEST, cleverly tandled and rushed along from the start, established a clear advantage rapidly, was steered to the rail after swinging wide entering the stietch and won with something to spare. PALMERA T., hustled along and on the outside, was sent to the inside entering the stretch, failed to menace the winner, but was much the best of the others. MY CORINNE raced evenlv and held on well. MISS HALL BAR had no mishaps. EDGAR V. tired. JACK YENNIE, shuffled back at the start, showed nothing thereafter. Oxerweight — My Corinne, 1 pound; Miss Hall Bar, 1; No Go. 1. Mrs. H. C. LA TORA. probably the best and unprepared when the start came, was ourun to the stretch and closed resolutely. THEA DEAR, hustled along from the start and on the outside, bore out badly when tiring.
