Report Many Arrivals At Fairmount Course Marchbank-Gregory Stable of Twenty-Three Head Checks In COT.T.TNSVTLLE,. 111., May 20. Fair-mount Park was the scene of much activity Monday, with the arrival of several carloads of horses preparatory to the opening of the spring meeting on Decoration Day. First of the larger assignments was the 23 horse stable of J. W. Marchbank, California patron, and J. R. Gregory, which comprised two express cars from Churchill Downs. Heading this stable are the handicap performers, Lostagaf and Pollenator. The remainder are Torchy, Strombus, Chatted,-Gal Ann, Commendable, Tenas Tyee, Sag-alie Tyee, Gallant Laddie, El Cabrillo, Edward A., Faraway Island, Beatsthemall, Oradia Queen, War Jig, Taken, Hogan, Timberly Gold, Jungle Dick, Stouthearted, Broadus, Osunita. J. P. Headley, well-known .Kentuckian, unloaded nine head who are listed as follows: War Bam, Skeekong, Friendly Paul, River Shannon, High Vote, Icy Strait, Amys Third and Wise Barrister. C. Botham, Edwardsville horseman, was an arrival with a six-horse stable headed by Meetsum. Jack Glenn unloaded four and Rivermont Ranch sent ford through trainer Charlie Grande they would campaign only 17 head. Charlie Deahl was an arrival and has a shifty plater in Rodes K. The. veteran Missourian, E. E. Major, sent word he was shipping his string from Chicago, which consists of the following: Last Call, Book Plate, King Cotton, Lord Prospect, Madam High, Black Mark and Miss Helen. Dr. C.; N. Finch has increased his stalls to accomodate 13 head, which will include the three-time winner at Churchill, Yar. i j j
