Hamilton to Appeal Judgment CHICAGO, 111., May 20. William Hamilton, former starter at Hawthorne and other tracks, said today that he would appeal a ,000 court judgment against him in favor of Harry Herendeen, Illinois owner and breeder. The suit was brought as a result of injuries sustained by the horse, Mr. Mile, owned by Herendeen, while at the post for a race at Hawthorne while Hamilton was in the starting stand two seasons ago. Last year Hamilton gave up starting at Hawthorne because of his duties as a steward of the Illinois Racing Board.
