Mioland and Challedon, two of the most formidable of Whirlaways prospective rivals in the 0,000 Suburban on Memorial Day were ad-r vanced a notch in their preparations for the historic mile and a quarter at Belmont Park today. Mioland, Charles Howards "international incident horse," put in the longer work of the two. The son of Mio dArezzo moved over a handy mile in 1:40 on the mile and a half main track, stepping a half in :48 and six furlongs in 1:14. W. L. Branns Maryland favorite, Challedon, only breezed seven furlongs in 1:29 going the first half in :50 and six furlongs in 1:16.
