Illinois Nevs and Notes LINCOLN FIELDS, Crete, 111., May 20. Ivan Parke, who was stricken ill during the Sportsmans Park meeting, has been ; released from the Garfield Park Hospital and has shipped his stable to Detroit. H. G. Shoemaker was one of the latest to get I in from Louisville. He brought with him the horses Prince OMars, Lady Romey, j Sildonna, Fountain Head and Marge Advice. ! G. E. Lewis, who is training a number of other horses, is reeciving five horses belonging to the Lookout Stock Farm from Kentucky. The Lookout Stock Farm is maintained by James Brink and C. V. Carr of Fort Mitchell, Ky. Five horses belonging to A. N. Gelb arrived at Lincoln Fields in charge of trainer G. R. Miller. The shipment included New Glory, Merican, Crandic, South Bound and Skating Fool. Jack Hanover, trainer of the horses owned by Hyman Friedberg, has taken a call on the services of jockey Frank Grill. Notified of the death of his father, jockey Hugh Lemmons departed Tuesday night for his home in Benton, 111. I John Oros, trainer of the stable maintained by Mrs. Elizabeth Oros, sold two horses Tuesday. He disposed of Watercure to E. B. Shipp and Athens Maid to John Massey, Jr. Both were sent to Fairmount Park. J. J. Stephen has left for Collinsville, 111., and turned the horses he had for C Smithson over to F. Carrat to train The j horses are Swift Knight, Gold Lass and Mi Secret. C. T. Young has purchased the two-year-old Cushing .from E. R. Moulder, but will continue to train Bobs Way, Fujiwara and Chin Music for the Tulsa owner and J breeder. Acting for his wife, Clarence E. Dale sold the plater, Pecks Bad Boy, to Milton Resseguest. The horse has been sent to Fairmount Park. Jockey Fred Farrell arrived from Saratoga Springs, N. Y., and joined the stable trained by J. J. Sirl. J. D. Mikel, trainer of the horses owned by Mrs. Emil Denemark and those who race for William Mikel, will receive Bena Bane and Lovely Sister from the farm in a few days. . Odie Clelland got in at Lincoln Fields last night with six horses he will race for R. J. Murphy and Miss Susan E. Kellogg Apprentice G. Ryan came along with-the stable. Charles Ludwig registered the horses Stelgate, Dark Mary and Mrs. Turp, owned j by Mrs. M. Haslet. The stable came from the farm near Harvey, 111. Tom Swigert .received Mrs. Lillian B. Muschals Shenuit from the newly acquired Muschal farm at Justice Park, 111. FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111 20. Mrs. Emil Denemark, Chicago patron has sent word to racing secretary Leigh she will have two handicap performers in the division which will be shipped to Fair-mount from Chicago. This brings the total to 22 in the handicap lists. One of the latest applications received for stable room is that of L. A. Connor, trainer of the Hilltop Farm. Two of the latest nominees for the Fair-mount Inaugural Handicap on May 30 are J. R. Gregorys Pollenator, which raced at Santa Anita and Hollywood Park last year and J. M. Marchbanks Gallant Laddie, which was thought good enough to be nominated for the Kentucky Derby.
