Sir Jim James Popular Sire; First Foals Now Yearlings LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 13.— The stallion Sir Jim James, owned by Ruth Sidell, of Chicago, and standing at Edward A. Carneys Valley View Farm, near Shepherds-ville, is one of the most popular stock horses in this section of the state. The fine quality of Sir Jim James first foals, which now are yearlings, has increased this young sires demand. Besides Sir Jim James, Miss Sidell has nine other horses at the Carney farm, among them the good raCe mare Burgoo Maid. In all there are 22 broodmares at Valley View Farm, which is managed by Joe Bailey, formerly in charge of Golden Maxim Farm at St. Matthews.
