Baker Signs With Bryson BALTIMORE. Md.. April 13.— Harry Baker, who reached the pinnacle of success as a trainer when he developed Calumet Dick for Ella K. Bryson, has again signed a contract to condition the horses of this Maryland turf patron after a lapse of nearly five years. Since leaving Bryson. Baker has enjoyed moderate success while handling the stable of C. W. Anderson and others. The Bryson stable was deprived of its trainer when Joe Serio, Jr.. was called into the U. S. Army last year. G. Ray Bryson has been conditioning his wifes stable since that time, but business prevents the master of Elray Farm from continuing in that capacity.
