[ i Durazna, Occupy and Jezrahel Wont Fill Derby Engagements LOUISVILLE. Ky., April 13.— Durazna, ; classy three-year-old daughter of Bull Lea and Myrtlewood, has had her training retarded to such an extent that she will not be a starter in the Kentucky Derby, nor will she be a supplementary nomination for the Preakness Stakes. Twice con- j queror of Occupy, in the Prairie State ; Stakes at Washington and in the Breeders I Futurity at Churchill Downs, which closed her two-year-old career, she has only an i outside chance of starting in a sprint toward the close of the Churchill Downs meeting, May 20, according to her trainer, John M. Goode. The latter, however, believes j he will have the brilliant daughter of Bull Lea ready for more important engagements about mid-June. Burley Parke, trainer of the John Marsch stable, who about six weeks ago stated that Occupy would not be ready for the Kentucky Derby, reiterated that statement today regarding the winner of the Washington and Belmont Park Futurities. Parke also stated that bad weather had disrupted the training of Jezrahel, winner of the Arlington Park Futurity, and that he. too, would not be ready for the gruelling mile and a quarter distance of the Kentucky Derby and, along with Occupy, will not be seen in action on that day.
