Divide Worcester Purse At Narragansett Today Eight Top-Flight Speedsters Named for Each End of Event PAWTUCKET, R. I., April 13.— Two divisions of the Worcester Purse, six-furlong allowance sprint, are to headline the attractive program arranged by racing secretary and handicapper Mathias "Ty" Shea for presentation at Narragansett tomorrow. Eight top sprinters will answer the bugle in each of the twin features and the races shape up as better-than-average contests. The initial division of the Worcester will be decided as the sixth and Irving J. Whites Little Hoops is expected to go to the post as one of the choices for the sprint. Others in the field include Miss Joan Beatties Old Whitey, Walter Gullatts Yes or No. Mrs. H. P. Bonners Miss Daunt, Arthur Hullcoats Don Lin II., Boblyn Stables Weatherite. A. R. Famigliettis K. Rounder and L. E. Ruffs Skipper Z. The second section of the Worcester is spotted seventh on the card and Mrs. Bonner as well as Gullatt are to have representatives in the dash. The Bonner hope will be Roziante, while Gullatts silks are to be carried by Sea Foam, a recent victor at Tropical Park. Rounding out the band are Baroque, Be Calm, Bottle Imp. Dr. Johnson, Page II. and Bring Me Home. The last-named performer raced well at Oak-lawn Park and accounted for an overnight event at the spa course before being shipped to New England. Like the initial two days of the current Narragansett meeting, the racing tomorrow will go for War Relief and the American Red Cross is to be the recipient or all net profits on Friday and Saturday.
