I : Four Face Jimmie In Pimlico Event Carruthers Colt Takes Up 120 in Dash; Bounding Bow Goes in Secondary Race BALTIMORE. Md.. April 13.— For the second time in as many days a program of eight races bereft of a stake presentation will be offered tomorrow at the combined Pimlico - Bowie - Laurel - Havre de Grace meeting at Pimlico. Fans will, however, have the opportunity to witness efforts of one Preakness candidate, namely, Greentree Stables Bounding Bow. and a probable supplementary entry in Mrs. Roy Carruthers Jimmie. They are entered in the fifth and sixth races, respectively. The latter, incidentally, serves as the afternoons feature inasmuch as it carries the highest valuation of any of the offerings. A purse of ,000 has been attached to this allowance affair, fashioned for three-year-olds of the grade "C" classification. Under its conditions Jimmie will carry high weight of 120 pounds. Others in the field are My Malcha, 107; Mouse Hole, 114; Plucky Raider, 105, and Bow Wave. 105. One of Greentree Stables Preakness nominees. Bounding Bow will appear in the fifth race. A six-furlong dash for maiden three-year-olds, it has drawn a field of 10 to vie for an ,800 prize. Bounding Bow was last seen under colors at Jamaica a few days ago and finished third in that outing. Remaining entrants in the contest are Feather-Bob, Ragged Rascal, Adelphia, Research. Stolen Kiss. Beggar. Roy Jay, Sna,fu and Doreena. Tola Rose on Scene Saturdays renewal of the ,500 added Bowie Handicap, naturally, still controls interest hereabouts. One of the principals for that mile and 70 yards fixture for three-year-olds and older, precisely, Arthur J. Sacketts Tola Rose, arrived today from New York and it is the intention of his connections to start the son of Head Play. No doubt trainer Benjamin A. Jones will also send postward Armed and Pensive, yesterdays hero of the Rowe Memorial, and probably Twilight Tear. As a tune-up for the Bowie. Armed this morning worked six furlongs over a slow track in 1:17%, handily, covering the first half-mile in :50%.
