W. Fisher; bred by R. B. Strassburger France. WENT TO POST-5:56. OFF AT 5:56 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. RESOLUTE II., rushed from the start to gain a contending position, was taken in hand going down the backstretch, was under a tight hold until midway of the far turn, then responded to stout handling to wear down TRAGIC ENDING in the final strides. The latter saved ground while following the early pace, came out in front turning for home, then just failed to last BROWN FLOWER gradually improved position to the head of the stretch, then was steered to the inside and closed with good energy. PEACEMAKER set the pace under light urging, held on well to the top of the stretch, then faltered. CLARIE WHIZZ was unable to keep up. FUN ROW had speed for six furlongs, then weakened. YLEE BAR raoed evenly. MAGNESIUM trailed to the head of the stretch. ESTA was outrun. CURLEY ACE had no mishap. Scratched— 99264 Lady Boswell, 106; 99503 Sirgano, 111; 98821 Oceanus, 112.
