Edward Thomas in Pagoda FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., June 4. — With the close of the receiving barn at the Motor City course, steward Edward Thomas, who was in charge there, moves into the pagoda. With judge Joseph A. Murphy, commission steward, and Detroit Racing Association stewards Jack S. Young, Charles A. Bray, A. L. Copland and Thomas, the local track now boasts one of the strongest stands in the nation.
