VALDINA SEER, under light restraint to the last five-sixteenths, made his bid gradually, swerved slightly entering the last furlong and, wearing down SONS STYLE, drew away. The latter, away fast but unable to keep up, entered contention with a rush in the stretch, was in close quarters for a short time in the drive and held on well when clear, but could not withstand the winner. TOP BOOK came from far back in the stretch and was going resolutely at the end. MISS SHOW ME took command when ready, but weakened in the last furlong. LAZY MAID was held safe, yet showed a fair effort. OLGA S. had the most speed from the beginning, but failed to stay when the real test came. CAST OFF quit badly. LOYAL showed a poor effort.
