West Loses Bug HAVRE DE GRACE, Md.. May 13.— Apprentice Donald L. West, 18-year-old native of Henderson, Ky., who has been one of the better riders in action in Maryland this spring, lost his apprentice allowance at the conclusion of yesterdays racing. The youngster broke his maiden last May 13 at Churchill Downs when he was on Cindy Lea. Trainer Willie Zimmerman was the first to give West a mount as a full-fledged rider, signing him to ride Floredna in the eighth race tomorrow.
