Honeymoon and Three Other Warner Horses Flying West BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y, May 13.— Four stars of Harry M. Warners W-L Ranch Stable are flying to Santa Anita late today or Wednesday on a DC-3 of the Flying Tiger transport line. The quartet, who are destined for racing at Hollywood Park, where the summer meeting opens on May 24, is composed of the good filly Honeymoon, the South American Battant, and the three-year-olds Stepfather and Capt. Flagg. W L Sickle and a half dozen others of the movie magnates horses are following the flying four westward by express. Honeymoon has been training well and is expected to be ready for an early start at the Inglewood, Calif., track, while Stepfather showed speed by stepping a mile in 1 :40% this morning. W L Sickle was also on the track and went a mile in 1:43%. Jockey Jack Westrope is staying in New York until May 21, then proceeding to the West Coast, while trainer Graceton Phil-pot is leaving to spend a brief vacation on his ranch near North Platte, Neb., and will go on from there to Santa Anita.
