Leopoldo Sierra Suspended HIPODROMO DE LAS AMERICAS, Mexico, D. F., May 13. — Leopoldo Sierra, leading American trainer, has been ordered suspended by the stewards of the Hipodromo de las Americas and his case referred to the National Racing Commission of Mexico. The ruling made against the Cuban conditioner follows: "The chemist of the Hipodromo de las Americas reported that the urine of the horse Confetti II., who ran in the sixth race on May 4, 1947, showed the presence of benzedrine and it is hereby ordered that entry of all horses trained by Leopold Sierra is withheld until further orders. The matter of the stimulation of the horse Confetti II., trained by Leopoldo Sierra, is turned over to the National Racing Commission of Mexico."
