Carry Over Maywood Program MAYWOOD PARK, Maywood, 111., May 13. — With last nights opening program of the 60-night stand at Maywood Park rained out, the inaugural card was held over until tonight. Entries originally released for tonight will be run tomorrow night. A heavy rainstorm hit the half-mile oval at about 7:00 last night and, following a conference between horsemen and president Robert G. Johnson of the local association, it was agreed the strip was unsafe and that the program should be called off. About 1,000 people already were in the stands when the deluge hit the track.
