Ym May 14.— The fifteenth annual convention of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners opens here Monday at the Hotel Commodore with the following program: Morning Session Call to order, 9:30 a. m. Roll call of states. Address of welcome by president. Address of welcome on behalf of the State of New York. Response by former President Beverley Broun. Appointment of committee on nominations. Reading of treasurers report. Report of committees: a Information. b Finance. C Uniform rules and procedure. d International relations. Report of committee on nominations. Election of officers. Adjourning morning session at 1 p. m. Afternoon Session Call to order, 2 p. m. Report of committees: a Constitution and by-laws. b Stimulation and drugs. x c Pari-mutuel taxation. d Legalized off-course betting. Open forum for discussion by invited representatives of: a American Trainers- Association. b Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association. c Thoroughbred Racing Associations of the United States, Ihc. d Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau. e Jockeys Guild, Inc. f New York Turf Writers Association. g Daily Racing Form. h American Thoroughbred Breeders Association. i California Thoroughbred Owners and Trainers Association. Adjourn afternoon session at 5:30 p. m. 7:00 p. m. Cocktail party in Basildon Room of Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, Park Avenue and Fiftieth Street, New York City. 8:00 p. m. Dinner-dance and floor show in Jade Room of Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. While the National Association of State Racing Commissioners is in session, the! Association of Official Racing Chemists! will hold its third annual meeting simultaneously but independently in Parlor A on the main ballroom floor of the Hotel Commodore.
