Dr. Richards Buys Mare FORT WORTH, Texas, May 14.— Dr. C R. Richards, well known veterinarian, acquired the brood mare, Socker, by Quibbler out of Lambaste, from the executors of the John Bostick estate. He also bought Sockers 1949 foal, erroneously assumed to be by Bim Bam, later corrected to be by. Corrour. "I had hoped the foal was by Bim Bam, .as this stallion sired Fuego, holder of two track records at Santa Anita, and I-rather like St. Germans blood," said Dr. Richards, who also visited Cresson Farm with Fred Browning.
