WARY FLIGHT moved up fast on the outside rounding to the stretch turn, disposed of the leaders and drew away. LUCKY GREENOCK, a prominent factor from the start, hung nearing the finish. GOOD COPY was sent between horses in the stretch run and finished well. POI was steadied along in front, but flattened out under pressure. ART BROWN made up some ground slowly while on the outside. SELECTOR moved into command shortly after the start and displayed speed throughout to hold his opposition safe. UPTOWN was sent between horses rounding the stretch turn and closed with determination. KINSMAN moved up fast on the inside rounding the stretch turn and came between horses at the end. THE TYKE was well up all the way, but was in close quarters on the inside in the final sixteenth. JOY C. raced forwardly from the start, but drifted out sharply on the stretch turn. WHIRLING WORLD had no mishap. ILTIS was not unduly persevered with. GILLIE YOUNG had a flash of early speed. VANSLAM improved his position steadily, moved up on the outside for the stretch run and, under pressure, wore* down NORTHERN DEB at the end. The latter forced the early pace, moved into command roundin to the far turn and held on well to the end. SHORT REIGN was outrun in the early stages, worked her way up steadily and finished fast. FLOOD TOWN was close up from the start, but faltered nearing the finish. TRANSAIR raced well from the start. DENAGEE was a forward factor in the early stages and was worked out a mile in 1:42. FIRST CITIZEN moved up fast on the inside, then quit PUNCHESTOWN was never formidable. DONNA BOORSE was worked out one mile in 1:42. GALLANT BULL had a flash of early speed. ARTIST LIFE, in near pursuit of the early pace, moved into command rounding to the stretch turn and drew away, then responded to pressure in the late stages to outlast PELLICLE at the end. The latter improved his position in the early running, moved up fast when roused, hung slightly entering the final sixteenth and came again. AIR ATTACK was well up all the way and held on well to the end. NEARWAY was under restraint early, was eased back and sent through on the inside rounding the far turn, was eased out for the stretch run and closed well. CER VANTES showed an even effort throughout. OCEAN BRIEF was«*ent through on the outside after the start, displayed high speed, bore out rounding the stretch turn, but responded to urging in the stretch and outfinished MACBETH. The latter raced close up all the way, slipped through on the inside at the stretch turn and held on well to the end. BUZFUZ was steadied along the first part, improved his position after being blocked at the turn and then came again. ROYAL GOVERNOR was outrun early, worked his way up and finished fast. CARRARA MARBLE raced close up throughout and had no mishap. FARAWAY was bothered at the turn and then finished well when clear. PLUMPER was outrun early. BLUE HOLLY had no mishap. Won driving; second and third the same. -MANCHAC was outrun early, but began to improve his position rounding the far turn, came to the outside on the stretch turn and, closing with a rush, got up in the last strides. GRAY WARRIOR, a prominent factor all the way, moved into command rounding to the stretch turn and drew away, but was tiring fast at the end. SMART EDDIE, on the inside throughout, was given a breather on the far turn and moved up when urged, but faltered steadily in the late stages. OPENING DAY was under restraint while setting the pace, saved ground at the turns and was in close quarters when the winner bore over. DONNAS ACE worked his way up fast rounding the far turn, bore out entering the stretch, then finished well. FULGURA was outrun to the far turn, responded when roused and closed fast. MONTAGE ran in spots and had no mishap. COUGAR raced evenly. MISS CUPE was unable to improve her position although in close quarters rounding the far turn.
