ICRA, HBPA Reach Amicable Settlement at Dufferin Park DUFFERIN PARK, Toronto, Ont. May 14. — Dufferin Park will continue its current meeting without interruption, the differences between the HBPA and ICRA having been settled at a late hour yesterday. Horsemen were given green light and entries were accepted by racing secretary Simms after the supper hour. The following statement was issued by the ICRA: "The future policy of the ICRA will be to grant trainers licenses on the basis of ability, character and experience. "Presently deferred applications will be dealt with in accordance with the above policy at the earliest possible moment." Horsemen on the grounds were immediately informed, as "well as those at nearby race tracks. Entries for Saturdays program were readily available both through the entry window at Dufferin and by phone from other tracks.
