HEINE forged through on the rail to be with the leaders, took command on the final turn and drew away under pressure. RIPPLING SAND worked his way up between horses, took the lead briefly, then drifted out in the closing sixteenth. GOLD CALL was prominent between horses all the way and weakened near the end. SWELL CHANCE, slow to gain stride, finished with good courage. REAL SWEET showed little. WASP WAIST quit. Scratched— 74035 Full Cry, 115; 74114 Bessie Vance, 113. QUICK CASH saved ground while well placed, was blocked momentarily on the far turn, went between horses when clear and wore down FRANKIE D. The latter made the pace on the rail and just missed. BURGOO MASTER went slightly wide on the first turn while with the pace and faltered in the closing stages. JACKS NIECE ran out on the first turn. CAILLOU ROUGE went into command on the rail, shook off SIR WHITE when roused and increased his advantage steadily under energetic handling. The latter, away fast, made the pace to the first turn, was hard put after six furlongs, but was not good enough. BODENS PAL, far back early, went up with a rush when called upon, and hung. SUPERWOLF saved ground while forwardly placed and had no excuse. LATE THREAD, allowed to drop back in the opening stages, moved up willingly, then faltered in the final stages.
