LILAC LADY was sent up fast rounding to the stretch turn, assumed command, but was placed under pressure in the stretch run when she began to drift out. CEDAR BIRD, on the outside at the stretch turn, finished well at the end. HIYA POP was hustled along from the start while saving ground, then stopped. BULLSEL made up ground on the inside late. IS I ME had no mishap. SUBDUE was never formidable. PORTAL swerved at the start and bumped VALDINA SECRET. The latter, after being bumped, showed some speed, then tired.
