elima Payment Due Today LAUREL, Md., June 14. — Final payment " f 0 is due tomorrow, Wednesday, on nominations to the Selima Stakes, one of "-he countrys outstanding fixtures for two-•ear-old fillies, which will be renewed dur-ng the fall meeting of the Maryland State "air here. The Selima distance is one mile nd a sixteenth, and since the inaugural ■unning in 1926 it frequently has stamped the champions of their sex and age. Among the victors were Fair Star, Bateau, Current, Tambour, Jabot, Nellie Flag, Jacola, Ask-menow, Miss Keeneland, Busher, Athene, Bee Ann Mac, Whirl Some and, last year, Gaffery.
