Convidado Seeks Repeat Victory at Garden State Risk A Whirl and Thirty Love Also to Command Much Respect ■ GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., J., May 1. — King Ranchs Convidado, who won 3n a high price claiming event here on Saturday, ~ , will seek his second victory of the "e meeting tomorrow in the featured 902 02 Special. The four-year-old homebred may ay be made a slight favorite off his convincing c- score over the course, but the competition ti- appears keen and he will have a decidedly e- tougher time of it in this race. ;e. Ten have been named to the event, which * will be decided at a distance of a mile and one-sixteenth. M. Kahlbaums classy mare Il Risk A Whirl and T. G. Bensons Thirty S Love will command considerable respect, 2 but the winner could really develop from L anyone in the field. Convidado was thoroughly convincing winning his race, in which he set all of the yZ "J pace and increased his advantage under pressure in the drive to reach the end °* of f the mile and a sixteenth in 1:454 and two and one -half lengths clear of the field. iri •L Clean Broom finished a distant seventh in this same contest, which indicates that at J! Convidado should encounter no trouble from this quarter. The King Ranch gelding has often been en dropped down into claiming company.
