th m ov to to br F r C J 2 V re is Z It l 2V2 ,„ 2 by r3 to to First Page Foals Whirlaway Colt at Page-Oaks Farm LEXINGTON, Ky., May 1.— First Page, winner of the 1946 Kentucky Oaks, recently foaled her second offspring at the Page-Oaks Farm of her owner, Dr. Harry G. Jones. The latter, an Indianapolis dentist, recently purchased Page-Oaks Farm, which named for his mare, from Jack Kain. is located on Mount Tabor Road, about miles from Lexington. First Pages latest foal, a colt, is by Whirlaway. The mares first foal is a filly Balladier and she has been bred back War Relic. First Page raced three years until osselet trouble finally ended her active career. William H. Bell has been appointed farm manager and it is the intention of the new owner to devote the 197 acres of blue grass the breeding and boarding of thoroughbred horses.
