Won easily; second and third driving. ROYAL BONES drew clear and came to the inside entering the turn, increased his advantage steadily until the stretch and won easily. LANDLORD forced his way up between horses, closed well, but did not seriously menace the winner. MR. FLARES lacked room on the inside en the turn, saved ground when clear, but lacked a rally. PETER A. lacked speed. PUFFBALL lost ground. RELOUP had early speed and tired, as did HOPEFULLY. RISKING was outrun. BESITA was forced to race wide while improving position and tired. BLUE MAN lacked speed to be with the first flight early, lost some ground while improving his position from the outside and displaced JOE E. LEWIS in the last sixteenth. The stewards inquired into the running, but the original finish was allowed to stand. JOE E. LEWIS dueled for command on the inside, drew clear in the stretch, but could not resist the winner. KATHY MENDEL bore in badly in the stretch. BLUE DANUBE lacked speed. RINGGOLDIAN was between horses while a sharp contender and faltered in the drive. STORMY RUTH was taken up when in close quarters nearing the furlong post and dropped back rapidly thereafter. Scratched— One and One, 111. TIGER TRAP was a sharp factor from the break, gained command in the stretch and drew out. A claim of foul against the winner by the rider of GINNAS WAR was not allowed. The latter was prominent between horses, came in when clear entering the stretch, but was no match for the winner. INCHCAPELLA went up between horses, came out for the drive and finished best of the others. LISTEN TO ME raced wide on the turn while going up to reach a slight lead and faltered in the drive. SNEAK broke poorly and lost much ground while being rushed along. ASSASSINATOR was shuffled back on the turn. CAIFERO began slowly. KING HAL quit. Overweight— Parchesi, 1 pound. FOURTH RACE 5-8 MILE. GLORYO established a clear lead and came to the inside before entering the turn, drew out when roused in the stretch and won under punishment until nearing the end. NO SCORE was well placed from the outset, but could not menace the winner. GODDESS ran to the middle of the track when bearing out badly on the turn and continued to bear out through the stretch. TUT-TUT-TOOTIE was forced to race wide on the turn and tired. POURQUOI gave way in the drive. CAMOUFLET was through early. BARLOW showed nothing. LITTLE FALLS was hard hustled along the backstretch to engage the winner, held on well, but was not good enough in the drive. LADYS DELIGHT went up steadily on the outside to be forwardly placed and lacked a closing rally FANBOROUGH was slow to gain best stride. FAIRYS GEM had no excuse. WHITE FLAG showed nothing. The latter was on the outside while vying for command and held on stubbornly until the end. SAGITTARIUS had no excuse. CACIQUE broke quickest and gradually dropped back. RED CAMELIA was outrun. LI MASOL was rated along while within striking distance, but could not menace when set down for the drive. CLYTIE bore out and raced wide entering the first turn. SILVER BRIDGE was hustled along in the opening stages to be on nearly even terms for the lead and tired before six furlongs. CAMPANILLEO was forced out on the first turn and trailed thereafter.
